Oklahoma State Cowboys (9-3) vs. Colorado Buffaloes (10-3)
Oklahoma State had won seven straight games before their loss in the season finale facing Oklahoma. The Cowboys have a dynamic offense that ranks tied for 19th in the nation in points per game and they are led by their passing attack, which ranks 9th in the nation averaging 322.8 passing yards per game. Like OSU, Colorado ended the season well, as they were riding a six-game winning streak before getting crushed by Washington in the Pac 12 title game. Also, like the Cowboys the Buffaloes were 2-2 on the season facing top 25 teams. Colorado has more balance than the Cowboys, as they are solid on both sides of the ball and rank 47th in the nation in passing yards per game and 49th in rushing yards per game.
In their last game Oklahoma State lost to Oklahoma 38-20 and Colorado lost to Washington 41-10.
This game is being held at a neutral site at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

Oklahoma State is led by QB Mason Rudolph, who had a big season passing for 3,777 yards with 25 TD and only four INT. However, he struggled in the season finale loss to Oklahoma only going 11/25 for 186 yards with no TD and no INT. WR James Washington is the main guy the Colorado secondary has to worry about, as he has 1,209 receiving yards while the next leading receiver has 762 in a deep corps. Justice Hill rushed for over 1,000 yards on the season and in the Oklahoma game rushed for 99 yards and over 100 yards in his previous two games.

Colorado ranks 13th in the nation in pass defense and 39th in run defense.
Sefo Liufau leads the Buffaloes and he has been slowed by an ankle injury that held him to only 13 pass attempts in the loss to Washington and he was picked off three times. He should go in this game, but may not be 100%. RB Phillip Lindsay is THE guy in the backfield and in four of his last seven games he rushed for at least 119 yards, but only had 53 averaging 2.8 yards per carry in the loss to Washington.
Oklahoma State only ranks 96th in the nation defending the pass and 91st defending the run.

Oklahoma State Cowboys vs. Colorado Buffaloes Prediction
The Buffaloes were blown out by the Huskies in the Paqc-12 title game, but the key to this game was the injury to Sefo Liufau early in the game. He came back into the game in the second half, but was no where near 100% and was a disaster. He should be reasonably healthy for this game and when Liufau has played a complete game Colorado is 10-0. Oklahoma State were a big surprise this season and the team appeared to get stronger as the year winning seven consecutive games before dropping their finale on the road 38-20 to a very good Oklahoma team. These two teams are not that far apart and with the Buffaloes injury prone QB Sefo Liufau having a high probability of not lasting the whole game the prudent bet would be taking the points.
