Terry Francona ate 17 popsicles in one night and you will believe what happened next
Cleveland Indians manager Terry Francona is one of the more lovable personalities in baseball. We love Francona because he’s the type of manager who will — as he did Wednesday — tell stories about how he ate 17 popsicles in one night.
But Francona is also 56 and, frankly, should know that eating 17 popsicles before bed is never going to end well. Oh, he told the story about how it ended too.

Suppose things could have been worse. Someone could have given Nick Swisher 17 Red Bulls before bed.
Before the inevitable “why is this news?!” comment, we’ll fully admit that it is not. But it’s a funny story about one of the most interesting guys in baseball. And about popsicles, which are delicious. In moderation.
