Source: Ridnour joins Griz in trade with Magic
The Orlando Magic on Wednesday traded guard Luke Ridnour to Memphis for the rights to Latvian forward Janis Timma, a source told ESPN The Magazine’s Chris Broussard.
Timma was the Grizzlies’ second-round pick in the 2013 NBA draft.
Ridnour averaged 4.0 points and 2.0 assists while playing 47 games for the Magic last season.
The 14th overall pick in the 2003 draft, Memphis becomes Ridnour’s sixth NBA team. He has career averages of 9.3 points, 4.5 assists and 2.3 rebounds per game.
