What were the worst NBA Draft picks of all time?
The NBA draft is approaching, and with it the opportunity for teams to make spectacularly bad decisions. A good draft pick can fortify a team for a decade; a bad one can land a team right back in the lottery next year. But the worst picks are the missed opportunities, the selections a team made when a much better option was right there for the taking.
We all know about the Portland Trailblazers picking Sam Bowie over Michael Jordan. Let’s look past that and consider some of the other, most ridiculous misfires of the NBA Draft. Pistons and Bucks fans, you might want to avert your eyes. Everybody else … this could be you.
