UCLA reinstates OL coach Adrian Klemm after NCAA-related suspension
After a suspension that spanned more than three months, UCLA announced Friday that assistant coach Adrian Klemm has been reinstated to the program.
Klemm, who coaches the Bruins’ offensive line, was suspended in March for allegedly violating NCAA rules. The school said that Klemm will “resume his duties in full.”
“UCLA continues to work jointly and cooperate fully with the NCAA to complete the review of the matters surrounding Klemm’s suspension,” UCLA said in a statement. “To protect the integrity of the ongoing process, UCLA will refrain from further comment at this time.”
When announcing Klemm’s suspension, UCLA said it had been “made aware” of alleged violations involving Klemm. At that point, the program alerted the NCAA, which prompted the decision to suspend him. As part of his suspension, Klemm missed spring practice and was not allowed to recruit.
In addition to coaching the offensive line, Klemm also serves as associate head coach and running game coordinator. He joined Jim Mora’s staff in 2011 and is known as one of the top recruiters on UCLA’s staff.
