Steelers to bring back 1934 throwback uniforms in 2015
The Pittsburgh Steelers’ 1934 throwback uniforms will make another triumphant return in 2015.
The team announced Wednesday that they will wear the black-and-yellow bumblebee striped uniforms on Nov. 1 against the Cincinnati Bengals at Heinz Field.
The Steelers first brought back the uniforms in 2012 to mark the team’s 80th season of professional football and have worn them four times since.
The Steelers are 3-1 in those games, beating the Washington Redskins in 2012, the Detroit Lions in 2013, the Indianapolis Colts in 2014 and losing to the Baltimore Ravens in 2012.
