NLL picks three Sportsmanship finalists – Buffalo News
Kyle Buchanan of the New England Black Wolves, Jordan Hall of the Rochester Knighthawks, and Curtis Hodgson of the Vancouver Stealth have been selected as the finalists for the National Lacrosse League’s Sportsmanship award. The trio were cited for fine play and a high level of sportsmanship.
Buchanan did not have a penalty last season while scoring 25 goals and 37 assists. He has had two penalty minutes in three years. Hall had two penalty minutes while finishing second in goals on the Knighthawks. Hodgson, a defender who also serves as Vancouver’s captains, had six penalty minutes last season.
The announcements of finalists for other awards will take place over the next three weeks. The winners will be announced in a ceremony in Toronto on Sept. 29.
