Baylor TE LaQuan McGowan throws out first pitch at Rangers game (Video)
Friday night was Baylor night at the Texas Rangers game, and LaQuan McGowan, the Bears’ 6-foot-7 400-pound tight end, threw out the first pitch.
The big lefty didn’t exactly have textbook form, but he got the ball over the plate just fine on what appeared to be a windy evening in Arlington.
McGowan played mostly offensive line throughout his Baylor career, but moved to tight end after catching a touchdown pass in the Cotton Bowl against Michigan State.
McGowan was listed as a co-starter at tight end at the conclusion of spring practice. We’re anxious to see how he fits into Baylor’s high-powered offense.
