Marlins Man made his way to the NBA Finals
Laurence Leavy, better known to the sports world as Marlins Man, took his distinctive bright orange Miami Marlins uniform and visor to Cleveland for Game 4 of the NBA Finals.
Baseball fans have become familiar with Leavy as he’s been very visible at the past few World Series but he certainly doesn’t limit himself to just baseball games. He was recently at the Preakness and the Belmont to watch American Pharoah win the Triple Crown, and according to ESPN’s Darren Rovell will be at Game 5 of the Stanley Cup Final on Saturday night in Tampa Bay.
Everywhere he goes he always stands out given his attire.
It’s far from the first time Marlins Man has graced the NBA Finals with his presence. With his hometown Miami Heat having participated in the Finals the past four years, he’s had many other opportunities to witness championship-level basketball:

You’ll notice though that he’s sitting behind the Golden State bench and not behind the bench of former Heat star LeBron James and the Cavaliers.
If he was there to throw LeBron off his game, it worked. James had 20 points, 12 rebounds, and eight assists but he was just 7-of-22 from the field and 5-for-10 from the free throw line as the Warriors blasted Cleveland 103-82 to even the series at 2-2.
Keep on living the dream, Marlins Man. We know we’ll see you again soon.
