A’s fans exchange foul balls, renew our faith in humanity
If this doesn’t warm your heart, then we really don’t know what to tell you.
In Oakland on Tuesday night an A’s fan made an impressive barehanded catch on a foul ball hit high into his section. After taking in the moment, he looked around for someone he could give the ball to and he ended up handing it over to a young girl sitting a few seats down.
Pretty cool, right?
Well this story is about to get even cooler. Moments later another foul ball made its way up to the same section, only this one was corralled by the girl who had just been gifted the first one.

So what did she do? She returned the favor of course, passing the ball she grabbed down the row to the man who so graciously gave up the one he had caught.
That’s awesome.
Even if the A’s aren’t doing very much winning this season – at 23-37 they have the worst record in the AL and they lost again Tuesday – but at least their fans are still able to put a smile on our and each other’s faces.
