Betting Odds
Point Spread: Warriors -1
Over/Under Total Line: 194
After winning Game 1 and covering the spread they lost Game 2 95-93 in OT and failed to cover as 7.5-point favorites. Golden State had covered the spread in their previous 2 games. In Game 2 the total went Under while in Game 1 the Over was the winning bet. In their last 10 games the Warriors are 6-4 ATS and they have an O/U record of 3-7.
On the season the Warriors are 30-21-1 ATS at home and 25-23 ATS on the road. They have covered the spread 3 of their last 4 road games, but failed to do so in their last one. Golden State has an O/U home record of 23-28-1 and an O/U road record of 19-29. In 2 of their last 3 road games the Over has been the winning bet.
The Cavaliers evened the series at 1-1 with their Game 2 win where they covered the spread. They have covered in 2 of their last 3 games and the only one they did not was Game 1 of this series. The total for Game 2 went Under while the Over bet was the winning one for Cleveland’s previous 3 games. In their last 10 games the Cavaliers are 5-5 ATS and they have an O/U record of 5-5.
This season the Cavaliers are 24-24 ATS at home and 24-26 ATS on the road. In their last home game they covered the spread, but did not do so in the previous 2 on their floor. Cleveland has an O/U home record of 19-29 and an O/U road record of 20-29-1. In the Cavaliers last 4 home games the total has gone Over every time.
These 2 teams have not only split the first 2 games of this series, but have split the 4 games overall this season. In Game 2 was the first game of the 4 where the road team covered the spread. In 3 of the 4 games these teams have faced each other this season the Under has been the winning bet including the last game.

Many people wrote off the Cavaliers after learning Kyrie Irving would be out for the series with a knee injury. However, in Game 2 while the Cleveland was ice cold shooting and Golden State’s Klay Thomson went for 34 points the main reason Cleveland won is that Stephen Curry only scored 19 points on 5/23 shooting. Golden State needs to hit the 3 to win and in Game 2 Thomson and Curry were a combined 6/27 behind the 3-pt arc. LeBron James did not have a good shooting night in Game 2, but still finished with 39 points, a triple-double, and was 14/18 from the free throw line.
The Cavaliers are back at home for Game 3 and I don’t think each team will shoot under 40% from the field like in Game 2. Cleveland has the momentum and they have won their last 3-playoff games with Irving on the bench. This will be yet another close game, but Cleveland will pull out the win and take a 2-1 lead in the series.
