Indians bullpen sent Brandon Moss a ransom note for his 100th home run ball
MLB players have a long history of trading things for memorabilia. If a player hits a meaningful homer and a fan catches it, the fan is usually going to get an autographed bat or jersey in exchange for that ball.
Turns out members of the Cleveland Indians bullpen are tougher negotiators than that. After their teammate Brandon Moss hit his 100th career homer Tuesday night, the collective of Indians relief pitchers presented Moss with a list of demands.

If he wanted to see that ball, he needed to pony up some serious merchandise. Particularly a few thousand dollars worth of Apple products. And, oddly, a 50-gallon drum of lube. (We won’t ask and you shouldn’t either).
Here’s the random note:
It’s unclear which Indians reliever is the ringleader here, but the note is all in the same handwriting, so we have to figure one guy is driving this train that’s seemingly headed to an Apple Store near Cleveland.
Whoever is leading this operation, he might have a post-baseball future as the next Scott Boras.
