Donald Young was once a prodigy. Ten years ago, just months passed his 16th birthday, Young became the youngest year-end world No. 1 junior. He has been maligned for choosing his parents, Donald Sr. and Illona, as his coaches rather than those designated by the U.S. Tennis Association, and has failed to win a title on the ATP Tour. With a 4-6, 6-4, 6-2 semifinal victory over Australia’s Bernard Tomic on Saturday, Young reached the Delray Beach Open final.
