Dustin Byfuglien spies on Washington strategy during timeout (Video)
Dustin Byfuglien, you are so sneaky.
Behold ‘Big Buff’ looking in on the Capitals during a timeout to try to get Washington’s strategy Thursday night at the Verizon Center (s/t Puck Drunk Love).
The Caps look back and are like ‘huh, what’s this guy doing here?’ And then linesman Scott Driscoll gently ushers Byfuglien along.
So let’s say you’re Byfuglien. You’re listed at 6-foot-5, 260 pounds. You’re standing behind a bunch of Washington Capitals. You’re wearing a different jersey than the people you’re around. You’re in a crowded arena, on a sheet of ice that’s being patrolled by the opposition and refs and linesmen. Did ya think nobody would notice?
Regardless, it was comical. And the Jets lost 5-1, so it didn’t matter that much.
