You may remember Eastern Michigan as the school with the gray field. The school has nicknamed Rynerson Stadium as “The Factory” and the new helmets will now have a silver and white stripe on them.
In addition, the team’s green helmets have been reconditioned and repainted to more closely mirror the uniform color. A metallic diamond plate block ‘E’ decal will continue to predominately be featured on both sides of the helmet. The face mask has also been re-coated with a nickel plating to give it a longer lasting shine as opposed to the previous green version.
EMU has been one of the worst teams in FBS over the last 20 years. The program’s last over .500 season was a 6-5 season in 1995. Since then, the only .500 season happened in 2011 when the team went 6-6. In the four years after 2011, EMU has gone 7-41.

But even if EMU doesn’t make any strides in 2016, they’ll at least look really good if they decide to knock down a wall of concrete blocks again before a game.
Eastern Michigan has new uniforms, so here’s a #TBT in honor of the Eagles.
