Rotoworld PL Cup: Rotoworld Fantasy Leagues
The Premier League team here at Rotoworld.com loves engaging with our audience through the fantasy game groups that we manage on various fantasy game platforms. What we love even more is that the proliferation of fantasy game platforms over the past few years means that there are more and more opportunities to do so. It used to be that we’d crank out a public league at PL.com and one at Yahoo and that was about all we needed to do until it was time for Nik to run the Blog Cup. Now, with Togga and Fantrax out there in addition to the PL.com site and both newer sites offering both salary cap and draft games there are lots of options. We want to make sure that you know about them and how to get the most out of them. Here are the list of places that we’re sponsoring leagues across the interwebs and mobile apps:
Fantrax Salary Cap
The scoring system for this one is similar to what was available in the old Yahoo game in that it is an “advanced” scoring system. That means credit for things like chances created, tackles won and saves in addition to the traditional PL.com counting stats (goals, assists and clean sheets). The web-based interface is new and improved from last season. To play with the Rotoworld.com team, click here and then use the following:

League Password: Rotoworld
Andrew Gastelum will be writing about Fantrax leagues – both the salary cap and draft flavors – throughout the season so if you do well here, you’ll have every chance of seeing your name on the site.

Togga Perfect XI
The Togga Perfect XI web interface isn’t ready yet but it is up and running with a new Rotoworld-related wrinkle on their spectacular mobile app. The new wrinkle is that we have a featured group that pins our experts to the top of the group and allows you to easily see how you’re doing against the team here at Rotoworld each week and overall for the season. Nik, Rob Allen and I all finished in the Top 50 overall for the season in Perfect XI last year so you all have your work cut out for you finishing ahead of us this year. Download the app on iOS or Android devices and then join the Rotoworld.com league.

Premier League Salary Cap
The granddaddy of them all. The Premier League game is still the most played game going by a fair distance. Steve Rothgeb will be helming our coverage of the PL.com game again this season. We had a great showing last year and we want to do even better this year. The look and feel of the Premier League site is all new and it feels like they are gearing up to start making significant changes after years of essentially the same old game. There is also a free mobile app this year after a few years of having to pay for them. The Rotoworld league code is 108499-65163.
We look forward to seeing you guys all across the web challenging our team in as many of the fantasy formats as you can handle. I know I’ve got teams set up in each of the leagues mentioned above and I can’t wait for it all to get started in just under a week!
