Blake Griffin is pretty darn good at stand-up comedy (Video)
In the few minutes he spent talking to the press after his first and only “official” workout with the Los Angeles Clippers back in 2009, it was obvious that Blake Griffin was blessed with a dry and formidable sense of humor. He’s acknowledged as much by acting as an intern at Funny Or Die during the NBA’s 2011 owner lockout, and several drop-ins at Los Angeles’ famed Laugh Factory, alongside appearances on shows like Comedy Central’s ‘Broad City.’

Montreal has an institution in its ‘Just For Laughs’ festival, where comics, actors, writers, producers, representatives and scenesters of all times flock up to yearly to either perform, or try to move up one notch in the comedic industry.
Blake, given a few months off, decided it was time to introduce a (R-rated; come on, kids, this is stand-up) set:
Not bad at all. Actually, that was very good. Not just for an athlete, and an amateur comic – that was very good full stop. And apologies if this clip is taken down eventually, as previous versions have.
The best news for the Clipper forward? He wasn’t shredded to bits in Andy Kindler’s infamous and always hilarious State of the Industry Address.
