Saturday is a big day around the NHL 10 games taking place. Hockey fans can rejoice because there are games going on all day, starting in the afternoon. DraftKings is offering several types of contests and you’ll have to decide what to participate in. There are contests using all games, just the early ones or just the late games.
The action heats up in the afternoon with a playoff rematch between the Washington Capitals and the New York Rangers. Washington has stormed to first place in the Eastern Conference and has a one-point lead on the Dallas Stars for the top spot in the NHL. It’s no surprise that the Capitals are loaded with fantasy options up and down the roster.
Philadelphia hosts the Islanders in the other early game and there will be some players to target in that one as well.
When the evening starts, Pittsburgh, Montreal, Ottawa, and Boston will all be in action. The most explosive team in the league, the Dallas Stars, are also in action and always make a popular destination to look for fantasy targets.
Another top team that’s playing well right now is the Los Angeles Kings, who host the St. Louis Blues in what should be a great game to end the day.
A lot of fantasy options will be available, ranging from some superstars to under the radar sleeper picks. The trick will be finding the perfect combination of the two.
All mentioned fantasy points and salaries in the following slides refer to DraftKings settings and scoring rules.
