Sunday, typically dominated by the National Football League this time of year, is a slow day in the NHL right now. Only three games are scheduled today, but that doesn’t mean you won’t get to play fantasy hockey. There are still plenty of contests to participate in on DraftKings.
With such a light schedule, there won’t be many options to choose from when selecting a fantasy team, making it even more difficult to select the right mix of stars and sleepers. Even so, read through today’s top targets and have fun trying to find the right mix.
The first game between the New Jersey Devils and New York Islanders doesn’t look very exciting on paper, but both teams feature a lot of fantasy value. Several players in this matchup will make for popular fantasy choices today.
A very talented St. Louis team hosts Colorado in the second game of the evening while the nightcap at 7:00 p.m. features Vancouver and Chicago. All four teams, particularly St. Louis and Chicago, feature some top fantasy talent. That means that Patrick Kane, the hottest player in the game right now, will likely be featured on many rosters.
Fantasy hockey can get tough when there are so few games, but the best lineup can be selected with a bit of research and luck.
When referencing average points and salaries, all numbers come from DraftKings. All scoring references refer to the DraftKings scoring rules.
