Check out our DraftKings daily picks for tonight’s NHL games.
As you research and build your daily hockey lineups on DraftKings for Thursday night’s slate of games, be sure to check out the following slides to see our targets for each position. The slides are broken down by wingers, defenseman and goalies, and feature both high salary picks as well as value picks.
Wednesday was a slow night in the NHL with just four games. Fortunately, Thursday brings us seven games, providing lots of options to choose from for fantasy teams.
The games get kicked off at 7:30 p.m. with two of the top teams in action. The Washington Capitals face a favorable matchup in Florida while the Montreal Canadiens face off in a tough contest at Detroit. Washington defeated Detroit in overtime on Tuesday night, while Montreal lost its third straight game by falling to Boston Wednesday night.
Chicago, Ottawa and St. Louis all have several players that are popular choices for daily fantasy lineups.
An interesting game to keep an eye on is the last one of the night when Buffalo visits Calgary. The Sabres have some young talent that provide fantasy value and Calgary, though still one of the worst teams in the league, have been on a bit of a hot streak with a current three-game winning streak.
When referencing average points and salaries, all numbers come from DraftKings. All scoring references refer to the DraftKings scoring rules.
