FanDuel daily picks: Fantasy hockey lineup December 9 – FanSided
Check out our daily fantasy hockey picks to target on FanDuel for Wednesday’s set of games.
Wednesday’s slate of NHL games is completely different from Tuesday’s slate of NHL games. Tuesday gave you a ton of options for DFS fantasy hockey. Wednesday, on the other hand, presents you with far fewer options. There are just eight teams in action tonight. The first game of the evening begins at 7:30 PM EST so ensure that your DFS lineup is set before that time!
The Boston Bruins travels to take on the Montreal Canadiens on NBCSN tonight, as we’ll get to see the two rivals square off in their final bout before the Winter Classic on New Year’s Day. Both teams are coming in playing some good hockey as of late. Montreal has a 6-3-1 record over their last 10 games, though they will enter the game with a two game losing streak. Montreal has a 10-3-2 record at home. Boston has a 6-2-2 record over their last 10 games and have played exceptionally well away from home (9-2-2 record away).
The San Jose Sharks, losers of four straight, will travel to Edmonton to take on the Edmonton Oilers at 9:30 PM EST. The Oilers are still in the playoff hunt thanks to a mediocre Pacific Division. They have 24 points while the Sharks (who are in second place) have 28. The Oilers have won three straight.
The Pittsburgh Penguins travel to Colorado to take on the Colorado Avalanche at 10:00 PM EST on NBCSN. Both teams enter this match struggling, as the Penguins are 4-4-2 over their last ten games and the Avalanche are 5-5-0. The New York Rangers travel to Vancouver tonight to square off against the Vancouver Canucks at 10:00 PM EST.
Positions will be broken down by slides. When referencing average points and salaries, all numbers come from FanDuel. All scoring references refer to the FanDuel scoring rules.
