Steele’s predictions for the upcoming season involving regional teams:
Virginia Tech: ACC Coastal Division champions, falls to Florida State in ACC title game) Bowl: Belk Bowl, vs. Arkansas. Hokies ranked 16th at end of the season.
West Virginia: Big 12, 7th place. Bowl: TicketCity Cactus Bowl, vs. California. Not ranked at end of the season.
Marshall: Conference USA East Division, champions (defeats Louisiana Tech in C-USA title game). Bowl: Miami Beach Bowl, vs. Navy. Final ranking: 31st. Herd ranked out of Top 25 at end of the season.
Virginia: ACC Coastal Division, 7th place, no bowl. Not ranked.
Final Four: Ohio State, Texas Christian, Southern California, Alabama.
Championship: Ohio State over TCU
