Hero child refuses to be defeated by this hot dog
We’ve all seen infomercial fails. You know, the late night videos that advertise a new product for the low cost of $19.99 plus shipping and handling?

They all start the same. Some narrator says “has this ever happened to you,” and then some ridiculous scenario takes place on screen. Usually it’s something like a bunch of pots and pans falling out of a cupboard or a grocery bag ripping and spilling its contents all over the floor. The commercials make these problems out to be normal, everyday occurrences, even though they are extremely rare.
They can, however, happen in real life as this young Angels fan learned Tuesday.
Let’s try and break this video down into an infomercial.
EXT. BALLPARK – DAYTIME
A young child sits in a baseball seat about to enjoy his hot dog.
NARRATOR

Screen fades from color to black and white and a wacky sound effect plays as the hot dog falls from the child’s bun.

There you have it. That’s the story of how a young child refusing to be defeating by a slippery hot dog took down a possible multi-million dollar product. We salute you, buddy. You were nearly in infomercial hell, but you clawed your way out of the depths.
