Gronkowski revealed in an interview with Sirius XM Radio Monday that he has only read “80 percent” of the 211-page book he co-wrote with his agent, Jason Rosenhaus.
“I’m not gonna lie about it,” he said. “That’s what the book is; it’s all truthful in there. It’s not no sugar coat or anything to make my image look good. There ain’t no false image in there. So I ain’t gonna lie, I only read like 80 percent of it.”
Gronk does have one favorite part of the book. It involves Slip ‘N Slides, and it’s on page 57.
He gave listeners a crash course on what makes a successful in-home Slip ‘N Slide.
“We got really dirty because our floor was really dirty,” Gronk said of the house (nicknamed “Club G”) he shared with his brothers at Arizona. “(We used) dishwasher soap. And then water with the hose you whip out from the sink, and then whatever you spill onto the ground, too.”
I think we can now consider Gronk our nation’s top expert on Slip ‘N Slides.
