Here’s our first look at ‘Ferrell Takes The Field’

It was a memorable day for fans of baseball and fun when Will Ferrell took over the Cactus League for a day back in March. Your chance to get an inside look at what it was like for one of the big screen’s biggest comedians to suit up for 10 teams in one day and play every position is coming soon to a TV near you.

A short tease for “Ferrell Takes The Field” was released over the weekend and while it doesn’t reveal a whole lot, it’s incredibly well shot and shows Ferrell delivering a couple classic lines.

The special premieres Sept. 12 on HBO and will definitely be worth a watch. There were a number of hilarious moments from Ferrell’s spring training adventure captured on camera that are sure to bring out a few laughs.

The stunt was for a good cause too: it raised an estimated $1 million for Cancer for College and Stand Up to Cancer.
