All 4 Utah State players in car crash now out of hospital
involved in a late June car crash are now out of the hospital.
All of the Utah State playersDefensive tackle Travis Seefeldt, the final player in the hospital, was released Monday night.
Seefeldt and fellow defensive linemen Adewale Adeoye, John Taylor and Edmund Faimalo were in an SUV with former Utah State softball player Sarah Vasquez on June 26. The SUV they were in was hit by a tractor trailer at an intersection. They were reportedly not wearing seatbelts.
The semi was carrying over 50,000 pounds of milk.
Seefeldt, reportedly the driver of the SUV, was airlifted to a hospital following the wreck while Vasquez was driven to the hospital by ambulance and later flown to a hospital.
Adeoye and Taylor were released from the hospital on June 28 while Faimalo was released on June 30. Vasquez was released on July 4.
Specifics of Seefeldt’s injuries have not been released. After spring practice he was a projected starter on the defensive line for Utah State.
