Three Leicester City’s youngsters, including manager Nigel Pearson’s son, James, have been caught on camera having an orgy with three Thai girls in a hotel room where racist remarks were uttered while the team is on an end-of-season tour, according to a report in the Sunday Mirror newspaper.
The post-season tour was supposed to improve club relations with their growing fan base in the Far East. Plus, the club is owned by Thai billionaire Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha.
James Pearson, Tom Hopper and Adam Smith had sex with three girls in an unidentified hotel in Bangkok and filmed their illicit sexual acts before sharing them with friends back in England who later passed them on.
One video shows the three players having group sex with the women while cheering and racially abusing the women. The video then ends with the players celebrating with high fives as if it was a goal celebration while “playing” with two of the women.
The behavior of the players is in stark contrast with the club’s anti-racism campaign. It demeans Nigel Pearson’s outspoken efforts in football’s Kick it Out scheme especially as his son was involved.
This may have a negative effect on the club’s international partnership with the Thailand Tourism Authority, which had already been renewed for a third consecutive year.
A Leicester City spokesman said: “We take the conduct of our players at every level extremely seriously and will take appropriate action, if necessary, once the full facts of the situation have been established.”
