Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final will take place on Wednesday, June 3, with a potential Game 7 taking place on Wednesday, June 17.
In other words: The NHL will have played two conference final Games 7 and Game 1 of the Stanley Cup Final before the NBA plays the first game of its championship series between the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Golden State Warriors.

The team that earned the greater number of standings points during the 2014-15 regular season will have home-ice advantage in the Stanley Cup Final and will host Games 1, 2 and, if necessary, Games 5 and 7. The other club will host Games 3, 4 and, if necessary, Game 6. The Rangers collected a League-high 113 points, followed by the Ducks (109), Lightning (108) and Blackhawks (102).
