Stanley Cup Final schedule: Game 1 on June 3
The schedule for the 2015 Stanley Cup Final has been released. (USATSI)
We don’t know which two teams will be playing in the Stanley Cup Final, but we do know when the season finale will start. The NHL announced that the Final will begin with Game 1 on Wednesday, June 3, at 8 p.m. ET.
The New York Rangers, Tampa Bay Lightning and Anaheim Ducks all still have a chance to host Wednesday night’s contest, with the Rangers guaranteed to host if they advance past Friday night’s Game 7 against the Bolts. The Chicago Blackhawks had the worst regular-season record among those still remaining in the playoffs, so they are guaranteed to start on the road if they advance past Game 7 against the Ducks Saturday night. The Ducks had the second-best record among teams remaining, while the Lightning are third of the four teams.
Here’s a quick look at the schedule so you can start planning out your life for the next two weeks.
Game 1: Wednesday, June 3
