A-B InBev picks new agency for U.S. sports marketing – St. Louis Business Journal
Anheuser-Busch InBev has tapped WME’s IMG to serve as its new U.S. sports experiential marketing agency, handling duties the brewer previously handled in house.
A-B InBev is transferring its U.S. marketing and sales offices from St. Louis to Manhattan this summer. Along with that move, the company put its U.S. sports marketing out for review, with competing agencies including Octagon, Wasserman Media Group, CAA and IMG.
Lucas Herscovici, A-B InBev’s vice president of consumer connections, said WME/IMG was “the right partner to help us optimize our entire sports portfolio, develop new, innovative and disruptive activation programs, and write a new chapter in the way Anheuser-Busch activates its sports and entertainment properties,” Advertising Age reports.
