Now that the La Liga strike has been averted, the Spanish league resumes action today with two massive matches involving Atletico Madrid vs. Barcelona and Espanyol vs. Real Madrid. And you can watch those two games live on fuboTV with a free 14-day trial if you live in the United States.
Due to the decision to avert the strike only being made on Thursday, all of the Spanish games will kick off at the same time today — 1pm ET, so that means that Real Madrid will be playing at the same time as Barcelona.
If Real Madrid lose today, Barcelona will win the 2014/15 La Liga title no matter what the scoreline is in the Atletico Madrid-Barcelona game. But if Barcelona wins today, they will win La Liga no matter what. Then again, a loss for Barca and a win for Real Madrid and the title will be decided on the final day, next Sunday.
What’s bizarre, however, is that beIN SPORTS has decided to show Espanyol-Real Madrid on beIN SPORTS, while “relegating” Atletico Madrid-Barcelona to beIN SPORTS Espańol. There’s no question that the Atleti-Barca game is bigger. Yet beIN SPORTS has decided to feature Real Madrid as the main game.
Luckily, no matter whether you get beIN SPORTS/beIN SPORTS Espańol or not, you can watch either or both matches live on your computer, TV (with Chromecast), tablet or phone with a free 14-day trial to fuboTV. Set up just takes minutes.
Most importantly, fuboTV provides you with HD access to beIN SPORTS and beIN SPORTS Espańol as well as GolTV and more.
Plus with fuboTV, you’ll have access to all of the Copa America games this summer as well as Serie A, Ligue Un, Bundesliga and more.
