The Wizards barely held off a hard charging Hawks team that fought back from a 21 point deficit to tie the game before a buzzer beater by Paul Pierce gave Washington a 103-101 win over Atlanta.

The Wizard were without John Wall and the lines maker and the public may have undervalued the team’s heart. Washington opened as a -1.5 point betting favorite before the news of Wall being out of the lineup had the line move to Atlanta -3.5 then as high as -5.5 at some betting establishments.
