Jamie Benn and Tyler Seguin pranked back by ‘agent’ moms (Video)
Jackie Seguin and Heather Benn, you win the Internet this Friday. Or at least show us why NHL hockey moms rule.
Check out this hilarious skit by Cabbie Richards via TSN, where the Stars’ moms get their sons back for their Valentine’s Day prank.
The gist of the Mother’s Day sketch is Benn and Seguin’s moms say they got into Southern Methodist University in Dallas as part of a sports management program. Not only do they want to live with their sons for a year, they want to be their agents post-graduation.
Try telling that to a 20-something millionaire athlete. Or even any 20-something for that matter.
Just watch and laugh:
Fortunately for Ian Pulver (Seguin’s agent) and Rich Evans (Benn’s agent), both players displayed a high amount of loyalty.
Benn seemed in on the joke the whole way, giving one-word answers and shrugging off everything his mom said. But I did love all the Benn hockey paraphernalia behind her. It’s like my parents’ apartment if I was awesome at hockey.
Seguin? He had to explain the entire business of hockey to his mother. Not to mention the fact it was CLEAR he did not want his mother living in his house, though she said they could set up separate wings. Oh the glory of being in your early 20s, on a multi-million contract and probably living in super plush accomodations.
Does this end the chapter or will Cabbie figure out another way to joust the two young stars? Hopefully this will never finish.
