Korean umpire takes foul tip to the most sensitive area, leaves on a stretcher
Pain doesn’t require translation, so even though the above video is entirely in Korean, our English speakers know what happened and exactly how much it hurts.
In a Korean Baseball Organization game played Wednesday, a foul tip came off the bat, hit the catcher’s glove and hit the umpire square in his most sensitive of areas. He stood stunned for a second, before falling to the ground in very much pain.

The umpire was identified by our friends at MyKBO as Ki-taek Park, and after a little while on the ground, Park was carried off the field on a stretcher. It wasn’t one of those a guy can walk off, obviously.
He isn’t the first umpire to take a foul ball to the family jewels and he won’t be the last, but no matter how often it happens, it hurts every time.
