Former Tennessee DL Dewayne Hendrix tweets he’s going to Pitt

Hendrix left Tennessee in December. He told the Chattanooga Times Free-Press in December that he wasn’t happy with his situation with the Volunteers. He’ll be eligible to play at Pitt in 2016.
“I just wasn’t happy,” he said. “I was happy with my playing time, I just didn’t like it here. Just my relationship with the coaches and how they talk to people. It just kept getting worse as the season went on.”
He played in seven games in 2014 and had two tackles.
Hendrix was a member of Tennessee’s vaunted 2014 recruiting class. He was a four-star player according to Rivals and the No. 5 strongside defensive end in the country and the No. 3 ranked player in the state of Illinois. Tennessee’s class was No. 5 in the country according to Rivals.
Former Tennessee quarterback Nathan Peterman had previously transferred to Pitt.
