UCLA student rep candidate gets tackled by Myles Jack (Video)
If you’ve ever wondered what would happen if a football player tackled someone running for office, here’s your chance to have the question answer.
Danny Siegel is running for student representative at UCLA. And as part of a new campaign video, he went out on the football field and took a hit over the middle from UCLA linebacker Myles Jack.
Jack didn’t (visibly) take it easy on him either. That’s not a soft form tackle.
Yeah, there’s a mat where the hit took place, but if you watch closely, Siegel doesn’t even land on it. It didn’t serve any purpose whatsoever of softening the blow. If Siegel was a glutton for punishment he could have then tried to tackle Jack, who has doubled as a running back in his UCLA career. Though we’re guessing he was just fine taking that hit and calling it good.
We’re not normally swayed by campaign videos, but if we were a UCLA student, this one would seriously make us consider our vote.
