Brooklyn’s power forwards Joe Johnson and Thaddeus Young both continued to create havoc for the Atlanta defense with their quickness and range and when you add Jarrett Jack and Alan Anderson into the mix the Hawks defense was stretched allowing Brook Lopez more opportunity. Lopez managed 20 points while Johnson added an additional 19, with Jack and Anderson off the bench they put up 23 and 13 respectively.
On the Atlanta side of the ball Paul Millsap was a bright star after a meager showing of just 6 points in Game 1. Game 2 saw Millsap put up 19 points shooting 7-11 from the field. Kyle Kover who has been consistent for the Hawks managed 17 points including 3 triples. The Hawks have been doing an amazing job from behind the arc shooting 10-30 in Game 1 and 12-31 in Game 2.
