Toronto’s star guard Kyle Lowry appeared to be nonexistent in the first 2 games and may miss game 3 due to a shin injury. This is not the Lowry who led his team to the playoffs in regular season play averaging 19.3 points and had a shooting average of 43%.
With Lowry all but out the pressure is on DeMar DeRozan and Lou Williams to pick up the slack for the Raptors. DeRozen had a great start in game 2 grabbing 9 quick points to start the game but finished with just 20 total points on 18 shots. Williams also managed to put up 20 points but poor shooting from the field and a less than spectacular 0-4 from behind the Arc kept the Raptors out of the winning circle. Toronto will have to adjust its play and increase scoring production from the 3 point as they are completing only 27% of their attempts in the post season.
