The draws for the semi-finals of the UEFA Champions League and Europa League have been announced, setting up some mouthwatering prospects.
The possibility of an el Clasico final between Barcelona and Real Madrid is on the cards in the Champions League, but first Barcelona will face Bayern Munich in the semi-finals — which in itself is worthy of a final clash. In the other leg, Real Madrid faces Juventus in what promises to be a very entertaining semi-final.
Meanwhile in the Europa League, Napoli and Sevilla have been kept apart, which means that both teams could play in the final. But first Napoli has to try to get past Dnipro, while Sevilla will play Fiorentina. The prospect of an all-Serie A final remains a possibility too.
The UEFA Champions League semi-finals will be played over May 5-6 and May 12-13, with the final in Berlin on June 6.
In the UEFA Europa League, the semi-finals will be played over May 7 and May 14. The UEFA Europa League final is on May 27 in Warsaw.
In both competitions, the semi-finals will be played over 2 legs — 1 home, and 1 away.
