Heading into this year’s NBA playoffs the Cavaliers and the Warriors are tied for the top spot to win on the odds board with the co-favorites at 11/15. The Spurs are sitting in 3rd favorite position as the 7/2 favorite while the Hawks and the Bulls are both at 12/1. Rounding out the topside of the future odds board are the Rockets at 16/1, Clippers 18/1 and the Grizzlies are a 28/1. At the bottom of the future betting odds chart are the Mavericks and Trailblazers both at 40/1, while the Raptors are 50/1, Wizards 75/1, Celtics and Pelicans at 150/1, the Nets coming in second to last as the odds on fav at 200/1 and the struggling Bucks bring up the rear at a staggering 250/1. My suggestion is to pick three teams to win the NBA title with 50% of your bet on either Golden State or Cleveland and then split the other 25% on two value picks.

That gives you three shots to get a return on your investment with only the Warriors win bet showing a negative overall return as it’s used as a saver. Some may argue that if you are going to play chalk at all you pick just one and bet it and that may be where you end up.
