Mike Trout might have a career in weather once this baseball thing is done
Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout is doing pretty well in his current line of work. The 23-year-old has already won an MVP award, and signed an impressive six-year, $144.5 million deal. Given all his success, there’s no way he’s going to step away from the game any time soon.

But if he wanted to, Trout could have a nice second career as a meteorologist. Thanks to the fine detectives at Reddit.com, we now know that Trout is a bit of a weather fanatic.
Turns out, Trout tweets about the weather, or at weather accounts and apps quite often. He’s even been called out for his love of weather.
There it is, Mike Trout likes weather. Based on some of his activity on Twitter, it seems as though Trout “like likes” weather. Reddit user bkleo504 studied Trout’s follower list and came to the following conclusion:
Mike Trout follows a lot of people on twitter. This is true. But Mike Trout follows a lot of meteorologists/weather related accounts. Go here.
Ok by my count Trout follows 17 different meteorologists and 20+ weather related accounts.
This is hilarious. Mike Trout is obsessed with the weather.
That’s some hard evidence right there. Trout, who is from Millville, New Jersey, has affectionately been referred to as the “Millville Meteor” by some fans.
With this new evidence in hand, there are those clamoring for the “Millville Meteorologist” to get some run.
