Giants’ Matt Duffy plays video games with a giant cat named Skeeter
Any baseball player can understand the value of having strong teammates. While it pays to have reliable allies on the field, San Francisco Giants infielder Matt Duffy knows the importance of having good teammates off the field.

Duffy spends his free time playing video games, and, when he does, he makes sure to surround himself with someone he can trust.
Like many, Matt Duffy plays “Call of Duty” online. Unlike many, he does it while sitting next to a giant cat named Skeeter.

Skeeter is referred to as Duffy’s “tactical field advisor.” That’s a tough job for a human, let alone a cat. Someone get Skeeter a mini-headset and an energy drink immediately!
The “Call of Duty” franchise has already introduced a playable dog character named Riley. With any luck, we’ll be able to play as “tactical field advisor” Skeeter in the next version of the game.
