Opening day had Hanley Ramirez and David Ortiz ballroom dancing (Video)
The Boston Red Sox had such a grand opening day that new acquisition Hanley Ramirez spent some time showing off his dugout ballroom dancing skills with David Ortiz.
The two of them — along with new teammate Pablo Sandoval — have fashioned themselves “The Three Amigos.” While Sandoval didn’t have much to celebrate (he was 0-for-5 with three strikeouts), Ramirez had plenty. He hit two homers, including a ninth-inning grand slam in Boston’s 8-0 win over the Philadelphia Phillies.
So when Ortiz and Ramirez locked hands in the Red Sox dugout, opening day turned into “Dancing With the Stars: Boston Red Sox edition.” Just watch those two move. Lots of baseball players dance — heck, Torii Hunter was doing something resembling twerking in the Minnesota Twins dugout Monday.
Who figured Big Papi and Hanley would be the most graceful?
