Obviously he has a lot more free time these days and he’s apparently watching plenty of college hoops.
Going into the game, the Huffington Post reported Romney was already in the top 99.98th percentile of 11.57 million brackets filled out in ESPN’s bracket challenge. Romney had seven of the Elite Eight teams correct and he nailed the Final Four. He also had Duke winning the title which means he likely improved in the final standings.
In case you’re wondering, Romney faired far better picking this season’s tournament than President Barack Obama, who hasn’t picked the national champion correctly since 2009. Obama had Duke in the Final Four but losing to Villanova in the semifinals. He picked Kentucky to win it all this year.
