These videos will get you hyped for MLB’s opening day

Here we go, baseball fans. The day is upon us —our best day of the year, opening day.

And while we here are The Stew are confidence we’ve given you plenty of previews and predictions to get you excited for the MLB season that the clock is ticking toward, we couldn’t let opening day come without getting you hyped for baseball too. So, let’s watch some videos, shall we?

Every year about this time, the various networks and brands associated with MLB debut their commercials and all of them do a pretty good job of getting you jacked up for our National Pastime. First up, the debut of MLB’s “THIS’ campaign, taken from the phrase “This is Baseball.” Baseball fans will dig this one, for sure:

Finally, MLB Network recruited 20 stars and four mascots for its season-opening video. This, by the way, aired before MLB Network’s new “MLB Central” morning show. If the players were singing, “Everything is Awesome” this would almost be like “The LEGO Movie.”
