Blazers' Wright breaks hand in loss to Clippers
Following Wednesday night’s 126-122 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, the Portland Trail Blazers announced that small forward Dorell Wright had fractured a bone in his left hand.
It was unclear when the injury occurred in the game.
Wright was averaging 4.5 points and 2.2 rebounds off the bench for Portland this season, but he has assumed a bigger role since Wesley Matthews was lost for the season with an Achilles injury last month.
Wright’s status for the rest of the season was not immediately known.
