No. 10 Oklahoma State Cowboys (9-2) vs. No. 8 Oklahoma Sooners (9-2)
It is pretty easy for this HUGE rivalry game, as the winner will be the outright Big 12 champion and also still be alive for a BCS playoff berth. The loser will get a pretty good bowl game. For the winner of this game to get into the BCS playoff they will likely need Virginia Tech to knock off Clemson and Colorado to knock off Washington in their respective conference title games.
Oklahoma State has reeled off seven straight wins and in that span they have beaten two ranked teams. They have one of the most dynamic passing attacks in the nation and they rank 14th averaging just over 40 ppg. The Cowboys have lost 11 of the past 13 games facing the Sooners.
Oklahoma got off to a terrible start losing two of their first three games, but they have reeled off eight straight wins since. If the Sooners win this game they will make history as the first team to ever go 9-0 in conference play. They have more of a balanced offense than OSU, ranking in the top 25 in both passing and rushing yards per game, and rank 2nd in the nation in points per game.
This season Oklahoma State is 7-4 ATS with an O/U record of 7-4 and Oklahoma is 5-6 ATS with an O/U record of 6-5
.
In their last games Oklahoma State beat TCU 31-6 and Oklahoma beat West Virginia 56-28.
In their blowout win over TCU in their last game Oklahoma State racked up 541 total yards while giving up 343. Where they really killed it was on the ground with 334 rushing yards. QB Mason Rudolph did not have a big game against TCU, but he was solid and in the seven game win streak he has passed for 19 TD with only two INT. He has a solid WR corps and the RB duo of Justice Hill and Chris Carson combined for 300 rushing yards in the win over TCU.
Oklahoma ranks 122nd out of 128 FBS teams defending the pass and 48th defending the run. In their season finale win over West Virginia they gave up 191 passing yards and a whopping 388 rushing yards.
In the Sooners win over a ranked West Virginia team in their last game they had fewer yards than the Mountaineers and gave up 579 total yards, but they forced four turnovers. In the game Baker Mayfield only passed for 169 yards with two TD and one INT, but the RB duo of Samaje Perine and Joe Mixon combined to rush for 307 yards.

Oklahoma State at Oklahoma Prediction
The Sooners cruised down the home stretch while the Cowboys played some of their toughest games in the second half of the season. Both teams come into this game on a roll but Oklahoma proved they could play defense over the later part of the season something Oklahoma State never got a grasp of. I suggest laying the big number on the Sooners and maybe if you wait you might find some 10’s on the board closer to game time.
