Denver Broncos (6-2) vs. Oakland Raiders (6-2)
First place in the AFC West is up for grabs in this game with the Broncos and the Raiders both at 6-2. The Broncos have won two in a row scoring 27 points in each and their defense has been solid all season. Denver ranks 5th in the league only allowing an average of 17 ppg.
The Raiders have won five of their last six games including their last two. Their D has not been great this season, but their offense ranks in the top eight in the league in both passing yards per game and rushing yards per game. At the halfway point in the season QB Derek Carr is getting some serious MVP consideration.
In their last games the Broncos beat the San Diego Chargers 27-19 and the Raiders beat the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 30-24 in OT.
On the season the Broncos are 6-2 ATS with an O/U record of 4-4 and the Raiders are 5-3 ATS with an O/U record of 6-2.
While Broncos’ QB Trevor Siemian has not put up big numbers this season and only leads a passing offense that ranks 27th in the league he is still playing well. After getting picked off three times in his first two games he only has one since and that came in the last game facing the Chargers, where he passed for 276 yards. WR’s Emmanuel Sanders and Demaryius Thomas each have at least 525 receiving yards.
The Broncos will go with Devontae Booker in the backfield and he had 54 yards only averaging 2.8 yards per carry in the San Diego win. With C.J. Anderson now on IR Booker is the main guy and has to help his young QB out.
While the Oakland offense has been solid they only rank 29th in the league in both pass and run defense.
The Raiders won their last game against the Bucs even though they committed 23 penalties. They lead the league, by far, in penalties and that has to stop. I mean last week’s game against the Bucs went to OT even though Carr set a franchise record with 513 passing yards. He has not been picked off in his last two games and for the season he has 17 TD and only three INT. He has a solid offensive line and possibly the best WR duo in the league in Amari Cooper and Michael Crabtree. He is getting help in the backfield by a trio of legit RB’s in Latavius Murray, DeAndre Washington, and Jalen Richard.
Denver is led by a solid defense that includes Von Miller and DeMarcus Ware and the Oakland offensive line will have their hands full. Overall, the Broncos rank 2nd in the league in pass defense, but only 25th in run defense.

Denver Broncos at Oakland Raiders Free Prediction
The Raiders biggest weakness is their running game, but they catch a break this week. The Broncos best RB option Devontae Booker didn’t impress last week (54 yards 2.8 yards per carry) and he comes into this game a little banged up. Oakland has scored their share of points this season, but they’ve been dealing with a slew of offensive line injuries all season. They’re still banged up, however, this unit is probably in the best shape it has been all season going into the game against the Denver. We feel that this line should be Oakland -3 making the Broncos overvalued in this game.
