Texas A&M Aggies (6-0) vs. Alabama Crimson Tide (7-0)
In the lone match up this weekend between two teams in the top 10 top-ranked Alabama plays host to 6th ranked Texas A&M. Both of these teams are undefeated and the Tide knocked off another top 10 team last week beating Tennessee and the Aggies handed the Volunteers their first loss of the season the week before.
The big key in this game will be which team can run the ball, as both teams rank in the top 10 in the nation in rushing yards per game. However. The Tide have the big advantage on D ranking 1st in the nation in run defense while A&M only ranks 68th.
Both of these teams are averaging over 40 ppg on the season and Alabama has scored 49 points in each of their last two games.
This season Texas A&M is 4-2 ATS with an O/U record of 2-3-1 and Alabama is 5-2 ATS with an O/U record of 4-3.
Last season at Texas A&M the Crimson Tide beat the Aggies 41-23.
In their last game Texas A&M beat Tennessee 45-38 in 2OT and in the game QB Trevor Knight passed for 239 yards with two TD and he was also picked off twice. He also rushed for 110 yards in the game, but the player the Tide may have to worry about the most is Trayveon Williams, who galloped for 217 yards and averaged 7.8 yards per carry and scored the game winning TD against Tennessee.
The Aggies only beat Tennessee by seven points even forcing seven turnovers, but they allowed them to rack up 684 yards of total offense. Not only have the Aggies had issues defending the run, but their pass defense only ranks 109th in the nation.
While A&M gave up nearly 700 yards of offense against Tennessee, Alabama played a great defensive game last week facing them only giving up 163 yards. They totally stuffed the run and on the offensive side of the football they rushed for 438 yards.
Duel threat QB Jalen Hurts passed for 143 yards with no TD and one INT in the Tennessee game, but was also the leading rusher with 132 yards and three TD. At least three players had over 93 rushing yards in that game and A&M will have their hands full trying to contain the run.

Texas A&M Aggies at Alabama Crimson Tide Prediction
They have two common opponents in Tennesee and Arkansas and while the Aggies did play both at home and the Tide both on the road, the two clubs did sweep the two games. The ‘Bama defense is formidable and they could literally run away with this game with their crazy good ground attack. However, Mississippi was able to give Alabama a run for their money amassing 43 points on 527 yards in a narrow five point loss. So, we’ll take our chances on a team that has yet to taste defeat and comes into this game with extra rest and game plan and a pocketful of points.
