Arkansas Razorbacks (3-0) vs. Texas A&M Aggies (3-0)
Arkansas and Texas A&M head into this big early season SEC game both ranked in the top 25 and both undefeated. Both teams have impressive wins on their resume already with Arkansas beating Louisiana Tech and TCU and Texas A&M with wins over UCLA and Auburn.
This game is being held at a neutral site at AT&T Stadium in Arlington Texas.
Arkansas’ defense will have their hands full in this game facing an Aggies’ offense that ranks in the top 25 in the nation in passing and rushing yards per game.
Arkansas beat Texas State in their last game 42-3 covering as a 28.5-point favorite with the total going Under.
In their last game Texas A&M beat Auburn 29-16 covering as a 1-point underdog and the total going Under.
This season Arkansas is 2-1 ATS with an O/U record of 1-2 and Texas A&M is 3-0 ATS with an O/U record of 0-2-1.
Last season at AT&T Stadium Texas A&M beat Arkansas 28-21 covering as a 6-point favorite with the total going Under. The Aggies have won all four of their games facing Arkansas since they joined the SEC.
QB Austin Allen leads Arkansas and while he has not put up huge numbers he has been solid and after throwing two picks in the season opener he has five TD and no INT in the last two games. He has a solid WR corps and the one player that the Texas A&M defense has to worry about is RB Rawleigh Williams III, who has rushed for at least 121 yards in his last two games and is averaging over five yards per carry.
The Razorbacks’ offensive line has had issues protecting Allen on the young season and that is not good since A&M features one of the best DL in the nation in Myles Garrett.
Texas A&M ranks 52nd in the nation defending the run and even in the win over Auburn they gave up 236 rushing yards.
Texas A&M QB Trevor Knight has already passed for 830 yards on the season and it helps that has a very deep WR corps led by Josh Reynolds, who has 229 receiving yards, two TD, and is averaging over 17 yards per catch. The Aggies have three players, including QB Knight that has rushed for over 150 yards on the season.
Arkansas ranks a solid 21st in the nation defending the run, but 69th defending the pass. That is why it is key that the Razorbacks, who have 10 sacks on the season, pressure Knight in the backfield and not let him make the big play down the field.

Arkansas Razorbacks at Texas AM Free Pick
Both squads are 3-0 on the season, but the Razorbacks haven’t beaten much with the only quality win being a three-point victory on the road over TCU. They gave up 572 yards in that game and were fortunate that the Horned Frogs played a sloppy game losing the turnover battle finishing minus two in that department. The Aggies needed OT to get it done in their opener, a game that they let an big lead slip away late. We think that they’ve learned from that game and were full value for their mild road upset at Auburn last week. Lay the points.
